Christophe Billet, who was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1995, has
a Masters DJCE diploma and a DESS in business law from the
University of Montpellier (1991).
During his 25 years in the legal profession, Christophe has
developed extensive expertise in corporate taxation at French
domestic and international level. Christophe Billet has been
involved in the structuring and tax analysis of a large number of
cross-border acquisitions and deals (takeovers, joint ventures,
LBOs, etc.) as well as divestments and restructuring transactions.
He is an acknowledged expert in real estate taxation and has been
involved in several mandates in the context of PPP on behalf of
major real estate operators.
Before joining DS Avocats in 2010, Christophe was associate at
Arthur Andersen (1991-1995), Coopers & Lybrand (1995-1998),
Watson, Farley & Williams – the Paris office joined Orrick in 2002 –
(1998 – 2003), and was a partner of the French law firm Ginestié
Magellan (2003 – 2008).
